About Us

We, Janet and Janine, are professional midwives who also have qualifications in alternative holistic therapies and reproductive sexual health. 

During our careers we have witnessed the major benefits that can be gained through accessing good antenatal, parent-craft education. We believe information is a key element in building confidence and providing realistic expectations. 

As antenatal classes have been delivered in the same format for many years, we felt that a refreshing new approach was greatly needed.

Mums, do you feel fully aware and supported with your choices?

With over twenty year's midwifery experience working within the hospital and local community, we feel able to offer you a true perspective so that you can confidently make decisions.

We offer guidance on evidenced based practices but always acknowledge and respect your right to choose.

Dads, do you often feel excluded or ignored?

We believe not enough emphasis is placed on practical skills and the father's role, or that of the chosen partner.  We aim to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to offer support during pregnancy, the birth and care of your new baby.

Our Aim

We have put together a day packed with up to date, relevant advice and information, including practical demonstrations for the hands on parent!

Ultimately our aim is that you experience a smoother transition to parenthood.  We hope that the day will forge new friendships and support networks which may flourish for years to come.
